What we collect
When you use BrokeSEO without an account, we collect only the URL you submit for auditing and your IP address (for rate limiting). We do not track you across websites or sell your data.
When you create an account (Pro or Agency), we also store your email address for authentication and billing purposes.
How we use your data
- URLs are used solely to perform the SEO audit you requested
- Email addresses are used for authentication (magic link login) and billing
- IP addresses are used for rate limiting and abuse prevention
- Audit results are cached for up to 1 hour to improve performance
- For logged-in users, audit history is stored in our database so you can track progress
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use a single httpOnly session cookie (session) for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection
- Google PageSpeed Insights — page speed analysis (the URL you audit is sent to Google's API)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — email delivery for magic link authentication
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing [email protected].
